Great little tourist village on the lake...has the typical ice cream shops, markets, tourist shops, plus a great location. Would try it again in the fall, when things quiet down.

Great small town pub...excellent pub fare, hamburgers are the best around! And don't forget their onion rings!
The town of Sutton's Bay offers fun shopping. It has specialty shops and dining yet keeps its small town vibe. It is not far from Traverse City. One needs to also stop at Black Star Farm . It is a beautiful side trip. The VET hospital is also highly recommended.

Suttons Bay is a neat litle town just off the bay. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Artists shops, ice cream, views of the Lake.
Fun village to visit in the summer or winter. Nice beaches, marina, shops and restaurants. There is also a nice wine selection at Hansen's food Market. The paved Leelanau trail (15 Miles)runs thru the heart of Leelanau County down to Traverse City. Bike up for some breakfast.
This town was quaint and the menu here superb. It sits on the 45th parallel, half way between the north pole and the equator.
cute boutique shops and a great atmosphere in a resort town. just a few blocks long but certainly worth the trip. a great activity for a nice summer afternoon
Suttons Bay is walkable, interesting shopping and good eating. A great way to spend a day, whether in the summer when it is teeming or in the 'off season' for a ladies day out or doing holiday shopping.
