Have visited many Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the Midwest this is one of the few that actually had the original furniture and textiles in it. The folks that gave the tour seemed to know Mr. Wright so they were able to add to the experience.

A bit smaller and more compact than most of Wright's houses, this features his usual wonderful warm woods. Situated on the brow of the hill, it offers a carport, an attached office, and typical little closet space. It's owned by the St Louis County Parks Department and so is not open every day - call for tour times.

The tours are limited to 10 so they are intimate and relaxed with knowledgable tour guide. There is only port-o-let for restroom facilities.

The guides where excellent. Very amazing home. I loved the design but for me it would be hard to live in this place personally. Very zen like with many points in the design.
