We went here on a recommendation of the Snow Flake Inn, and were glad we took their advice. Great food, great people and all at a great price

The runs at Black Mountain we well groomed despite being so late in the season. Rental rates and lift tickets were a bargain! (Save a few bucks on the lift tickets by getting them at Whitney's Inn if you're staying there.)

Family friendly with challenges if you want it. A nice New England mountain. Enjoy the curvy tight trails, and staff.

Great skiing! The slopes are well groomed, very diverse options. Amazing tail gate scene slope side. We all had a blast! Will definitely ski here again!

Black Mountain is a very fun mountain to ski and ride. It’s not the biggest or most updated but that doesn't seem to take away from its experience. It seems to be all about the skiing and riding there not fancy lodges and high tech equipment. Lift tickets prices are very reasonable. The lifts are old but that’s part of... More

Two lifts. A double and a triple. Very meager snow making capabilities, rustic old ski lodge. Awesome! We had a blast at Black Mt. We we're maybe the 7th car there at 9am which shocked us since there was 6" of new snow and it was still snowing. Our kids had a blast on the right side of the mountain... More

Our group of 11 greatly enjoyed the Beginner snowboarding and first time skiing packages....the staff is very accomodating and enthusiastic. Bring your own helmets...they ran out on the busy day we were there! It's obvious they are family owned...their sincere love of the resort and the sport are obvious!

Small, but challenging and the kids liked it. Not very crowded. The lift stopped alot, and the place is not a modern marvel, but the slopes are mostly black diamond...so beware of the top, intermediates must stop 3/4 of the way up...and beginners should go elsewhere.

Surrounded by higher profile ski resorts, this gem of a ski area is one of a kind. It's family friendly atmosphere combined with narrow, character-filled trails and low lift prices make this mountain hard to beat. The parking lot is within 100 yards of the lifts, and the super-friendly staff and lift attendants add to the overall great experience. Even... More
