Make sure you go on a clear day - and there are few. It can also be cold, even mid-summer. Our visit was perfect - we could see Boston and it was about 60 (warm for there). Go up the cog railway or drive up. The weather folks are friendly and very into the science.

Beautiful and not a scary as I was anticipating. We also went on the snow coach earlier in the year which is a not to be missed experience too

There'a interesting stuff in here but I think it is probably a better stop for kids than adults. Lots of interactive exhibits.

Free admission, a must see museum in the area! They even allow you to contact the observatory on the top of the mountain to ask about conditions. Great place for kids and weather enthusiasts alike!
