My girlfriend got the "True North Adventure" package for me for Christmas. We were out with the doggies and Whatleigh for about four hours riding up and back Tripoli Road in Lincoln, NH. We had just received a huge dumping of snow the day/night before so we broke a lot of new ground and the huskies definitely earned their food.... More

There are so many wonderful things to say about why this should be your choice for a sled dog adventure in New England. First and foremost, they are the most loving, happy, playful dogs I have ever met. Second, Whatleigh is a terrific and thoughtful guide. She really made sure it was a fabulous experience and was extra considerate to... More

Dear Whatleigh, Your love for those dogs was truly sincere and from your heart. You treated those dogs with respect, warmth and not only love, but friendship. The dogs love to please you because YOU respect them. That's what made the ride so special. With my equestrian background, I understand the teamwork between a human and an animal, and that... More

My husband and I went on the half-day tour and loved it. The dogs are beautiful, friendly, well cared-for, and their desire to run is incredible. The scenery was peaceful and relaxing. Whatleigh was professional, couldn't have been nicer, and obviously loves being with the dogs. We very much appreciated the fact she worked with us on rescheduling out trip... More

I booked a 3 hr adventure with Whatleigh as a Christmas gift to my husband and was really hoping for a memorable and unique experience that wouldn't also make us feel like we were tourists. This really fit the bill! Whatleigh was great: her presence with the dogs was peaceful and loving and she engaged us friendly conversation. When my... More

We had never heard of going dog sledding. We got an e-mail deal to this company and are really glad we got it. We love in Boston and made a nice weekend trip of it. Stayed in a great cabin in Woodstock NH (right near where they actually take you sledding) and then had a wonderful sledding trip. The dogs... More

The day after the Blizzard of 2013, we went to Barking Brook to experience the half hour dog sled ride our daughter gave us as a Christmas present - and what a treat it was! We had a team of 8 Siberian Huskies who were sweet as can be, and their owner Whatleigh had a wonderfully gentle way with them.... More

My husband and I were really interested in checking "dogsledding" off of our bucket lists, but we didn't want to break the bank in order to do it. Barking Brook and Whatleigh allowed us to go for a 30-minute sled ride at a really reasonable rate ($95 for 30min). We looked at some other companies whose shortest ride was over... More

We had the privilege of spending a few hours on the trails with Whatleigh and her extended family (Bodhi, Bridget, Mudpie, Blossom, Smudgie, and 5 other beautiful wonderful pure-bred Siberian huskies whose names I can’t recall…sorry!). Lisa and I took turns as assistant mushers on a double sled. What a way to see the majestic snow-covered north country! We can’t... More

Fun and safe dog sledding with an experienced musher and beautiful, friendly, hard working dogs who love it just as much, if not more, than the humans ;). If you even had a thought about doing something like this, just do it. You will wonder why you waited so long.
