I visited this a long time ago but was impressed with its size and its history. It's certainly worth going to see for all ages.

Spend 2 mins looking at it. Took some pics. There is no one around during the day time. Do be careful around Trenton. Stick to a group

Nice park area, car parking can be tough. Elevator to the top in season. Be aware that this is in the inner city of Trenton. Only those with confidence in urban areas should go alone.

I have worked downtown Trenton since 1979 and it is unfortunate that you cannot admire the area even back then, you would be robbed at the least and killed at the worst.

I visited during daylight hours and the park was almost entirely deserted. It is not in terrible condition, but not fantastic either. The monument itself was closed off. Sadly, unless you are interested in the Revolutionary War, I'm not sure there's much to recommend going out of your way to visit this. For me it was nice to stand near... More

Look at this in a history book. This area of Trenton is highly unsafe, there is no place to run, and your safety is at serious risk. I work in the city and this area is a few blocks from my place of employment.

Trenton is a very unsafe place. There are weeds growing through the concrete everywhere around the monument. The monument was closed and the elevator broken down. It is a shame, since one of the most important events in our history happened here. I was sure no one in Trenton new history of the place and obviously didn't care. They were... More

Yup, it's a monument. It looks like you could once travel to the top and get a nice view of the city, but it's now locked (like our Washington Monument in Baltimore). We were driving by and stopped to look at it, and it didn't look like there was really anything else nearby to look at (restaurants, shops, etc.), so... More
