Chatham, NY is not a place you associate with the great wine regions of the world, but this winery is setting itself above the other Hudson Valley wineries. They offer several varietals that are real values. As their vines mature, their wines should start showing greater maturity and depth. Try them now, so that you can say you knew them... More

We stopped into Hudson Chatham Winery when we were in the area on a day trip. The wine was okay, we bought 2 bottles, one red, one dessert wine. The tasting area is quite small, which made it difficult for everyone to get up to the tasting bar. One the plus side, the woman who helped us was very friendly,... More

Several years ago I was on my way to work near the winery, and stopped in on a wine tasting afternoon. I think they were opening for the season, but don't really remember, it was long enough ago. I was dressed in jeans and a work jacket, and may not have looked like it, but I had money in my... More

Hudson-Chatham is set beautifully in the Hudson Valley. I've been here several times, and enjoy their wine very much. They make a great Cab Franc and Baco Noir, a little known great that makes a rich red (and Hudson-Chatham does it wonderfully). I've met the owners and they were super helpful, passionate and kind.

Wonderful tasting at Hudson-Chatham. For $5 we tasted 9 wines with a personable host, tasted some nice local cheeses, and got to keep the wine glass! The wines were good and reasonably priced. We bought a few bottles and then enjoyed a picnic lunch outside, Very nice in contrast to some of the bigger places with inpersonable efficiency. I 'd... More

Three friends and I visited the winery to celebrate one of their birthdays, and to do a tasting. The tasting was wonderful, and the woman helping us was very knowledgeable. After our tasting we each took a glass of wine and sat at a table outside to enjoy a picnic lunch we brought with us. It was just lovely, and... More

A wonderful place to visit for an afternoon. The owners are a delight and help make for a pleasant and enjoyable wine tasting experience. The tasting room is bright and airy with wonderful items for sale including several books authored by the owners. Everything seemed reasonably priced especially their wines. It was impressive to learn that the owner Carlo DeVito... More
