Cornell is (in the spring) lush green and remains so until it wears its brilliant fall colors. Even in winter it shows austere beauty, an idyllic college setting. It offers a variety of activities with Sapsucker Woods and its birds a real highlight. It lacks one thing: sufficient parking space near the main campus, and steep hills to hike up... More

We walked through the campus on the way up to the Plantations. Lots of beautiful old buildings so was beautiful and interesting as well.

It helped that it was a gorgeous spring day and all of the flowering trees were in bloom, but I imagine the view from the top of the Johnson gallery is always pretty great. This is a very picturesque campus to walk around and you should finish it off by getting to the top of the Jonson Gallery for a... More

It is a beautiful campus with amazing architecture. We just walked around campus on an amazing spring day. The views were just stunning.

We spent a whole afternoon here, although one has to be careful driving out of town to find the right road, and the free parking. Buildings with amazingly varied architectural styles. 5th floor of the Art Museum has splendid view over the surrounding countryside and lakes. Recommended.

Loved the grandure of this world class university. Mostly visited it to meet up my friends and observed their different labs, faculties and club activities. Would really like to join this University one day and complete my MBA degree in hospitality management.

Want to take a fantasy trip back in time to Crusader England? This is an architectural folly built to resemble an ancient gothic English church and it succeeds most admirably! Literally from the intricately inlaid floor to the hand painted coffered beamed ceilings this is ONE cacophony of period elegance that when contrasted to the Johnson Art Museum, could not... More

I took my daughter to see Cornell and was very impressed by the beautiful campus (despite gray, dreary weather), the helpful student community and the incredible views. The Cornell store is fun and has affordable stuff, believe it or not! A great visit.

Great school in the middle of nowhere. Excellent education. College of engineering and CALS (ag and life science) are great choices.
