On one of the last nice weather days of the season, we just had to get out on the Hudson River. It's a nice comfortable cruise with interseting local information given throughout. It would be nice to get a cruise going noth on occasion.

The weather was outstianding as we toured down the Hudson. past the estates of the gilded age. 2 hour toure. Lightly narated. Saw the homes of the wealthy, and even eagles, nest and flying.
A very relaxing way to spend the afternoon; reminded us of the Scottish highlands and cruising on Loch Ness!
Had a wonderful crusise on the Rip Van Winkle. The snack bar is very resonalble and good. The took our picture when we boarded the ship and it did not cost a arm and leg to buy.
