As I went on tour of the Fort and all the magnificence it represents you can feel the vibrations of the action that actually took place there once. A must see for everyone in the area.

I went with the fish - a very small piece of salmon - with rice and a few vegetables - the rolls were good - for desert it was a raspberry...

Great walking trails, LOOKOUTS of where our first heros forged their way. Spectcular views, & trolley rides .
I always liked the forts evenas a child. I love learning about history. Since I found I had ancestors that fought there, I have wanted to go back with a clearer understanding of their trials and turmoils. Maybe next summer, I hope.
WIth re-enactments, demonstrations, crafts, suction-cup archery, a film, dungeon museum, and more -- this attraction was really worth the time and money. A must-see if you're in Lake George!
We visited Fort William Henry in July 2012. I recall it being reasonably pricey, and the weather was absolutely scorching. This was not a fun adventure. We went to lake george for a long weekend this summer and I always try to throw something of history into our family trips. Fort William Henry was not worth the cost to go in. I love old forts and American history. This place was run down and very creepy. This trip was centered around Fort Niagra, Fort William Henry and Fort Ticonderoga. Wish we had skipped William Henry and hit Fort Ontario.
Very educational; we enjoyed our excursion through the history exhibits and did a little shopping at the gift shop.
The day was miserable which only added to understanding what it must have been like in 1757. Gave a good understanding of htis timein hisdtroy , very informative and fun
