I found this place online a while ago and have been wanting to check it out. We were supposed to camp nearby but got rained out. We decided to make it a day trip anyway. It was about an hour and a half from Rochester, very easy to get to. We originally had tickets purchased online for the 11:00 tour.... More

I do not want to mislead anyone, because I have not actually been to this venue. However, I have something to say about their terrible customer service and nonexistent conflict resolution skills. I purchased tickets for myself and a group of three other people in the total amount of $75 and we were unable to make it to the boat... More

It actually is not a cave. It is a tunnel blasted out of solid rock that was built as a source of hydraulic power. Visitors are taken thru the 1600 foot "cave" partly on foot and partly by boat. They have a scary halloween program of trips in season.

It was a very relaxing ride-and informative. I appreciat that I can take "out of towners" for a quick trip on our history tour- it is accesable for oldsters and youngsters- I just like it!

The boat ride journey was a bit short(great for kids). It was pretty cool even in summer, so bring a sweater! A great day trip from Rochester or Buffalo.

This was fun but there were too many stairs for my elderly parents to naviagate. NTL, they loved the boat ride and the history

This cave is not a cave at all and the web site is quite an exaggeration. The so-called "cave" is a tunnel that was used to pipe water from above the locks to power a long-gone factory. The limestone cut tunnel is about 20 feet in diameter and the central focus are the gigantic three inch (if that) stalactites dripping... More

I live in Lockport, so I have been on the tour more than once. It it really a nice little walk and boat ride underground in a manmade cave (raceway). It's amazing how it was built way back then (1800s) and that's it's held up all these years. I would recommend it. Then you can wander around the locks after/before... More

The tour was extremely entertaining, very affordable and even better if you let Deb and the trolley pick you up!
