I love this theater. It is cozy, comfortable and eclectic. I love the variety of plays. My favorite will always be "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change". Great fun on a sometimes not so fun topic....relationships.

I saw the Johnny Cash show here. It was super cool. Mostly a "concert" with performances of his songs, but lots of little stories and information in between. I would definitely go back.
This is a small theater that puts on some very good live productions. It has tables set up on different levels so that you can have a liquid refreshment and dessert if you wish. I believe they have 3 locations in the Rochester area now, but our favorite is the Windsor St theater. A little cramped for space here but...

Lots of different shows. Calamari sisters are my favorite. It is good to have different theaters offered. GEVA is another downtown choice.
Saw the play, "Leaving Iowa." It was really pretty stupid and a total waste of time. Very disappointing evening. We would go back for a better play.
I have been to numerous shows at the DCT. I LOVE the shows. What I do not like is that the DCT has been made aware of issues with their credit card purchases (like if I give them my CC number to book tickets, I end up with $700 worth of charges because one of their employees or stewards steals...

I was fortunate enough to see The Calamari Sisters at the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre. The show was wonderful, the venue is cozy, with different types of seating, a snack/bar area with plenty of choices and reasonable prices. I will absolutely see a show there again!
Downstairs Cabaret Theatre actually has four different locations. You will want to make sure you know which you are going to before heading over there.
