My husband and I recently watched the Celtic Woman show on PBS. We were delighted to hear that they were coming to Rochester. Most shows of this kind come to the Rochester Auditorium Theater. Parking was a nightmare the night of the show because of another concert going on the same evening across the street at the Armory. Once we... More

This 2013 show is Awesome!! Top of the line for guest experience. Started on time @ 7:30, twenty minute intermission, then more pleasure until 9:55 p.m. Outstanding all around. Instruments were bagpipes, drums, and of course the violin. Well worth the price. Very enjoyable experience that we will do again. If you have the opportunity to see Celtic Woman in... More

I enjoy the broadway shows that come to Rochester but the theater is uncomfortable and old. The Rochester Broadway Theater may be moving to a new location but that has been on and off so I get dizzy trying to figure it out. Tickets aren;t cheao and only those who can afford the pricey ticket will get to see a... More

Good acoustics, with basic seats that are reasonably comfortable. They let you take your intermission wine or bottle of soda back to your seat if you haven't finished!

Very pretty and elegant. I'd say, the facilty is adequate; shows have great staging; sound seems fine. we seem to attact good shows, so I guess it is an alright facilty.

This theatre is lovely and there really isn't a bad seat in the house for viewing. My only real complaint is that the seats are very tight, not alot of room to get past someone else and very little elbow room.

This October we saw Mary Poppins. The snack lines get long- but they move quickly. We had a great view on the lower "orchestra" level.

I recently saw the Blue Man Group at the Auditorium - the most recent of many visits. People complain about the auditorium, and yes, it has its drawbacks. The seats are crowded and therefore legroom is at a premium. The acoustics are average. I've never had any trouble hearing anything that was happening on the stage, whether it be theater... More

We have been season ticket holders for years and will continue to do so. The RBTL is at the Auditorium on Goodman. The choice of events is excellent, the theater is old and beautiful. Parking is easy. The drawbacks: Acoustics are at best medium, upper seating area are hot, but the killer is the seating. It is very uncomfortable! The... More

Money should be poured into the Auditorium Theatre to preserve it. It is a unique venue and the cast of hundreds of famous artists who, over the years, have graced the stage is huge and impressive. It has, alas, been allowed to become a bit tattered and needs some serious support. Please revive it!!
