I have enjoyed the programs at the planetarium since I was a teenager, years ago. Now we are taking our grandchildren to the planetarium. The 3 and 4 year olds were sitting on the edge of their seat during Fly me to the Moon. The teenagers liked the NASA program and the other programs as well. We still enjoy the... More

Held the attention of the kids and had a great experience. The announcer was very knowledgeable and was enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge.

I purchased tickets to the Holiday Laser light show at the planetarium for my husband and I. The planetarium is very old and kind of run down. The light show was ultimately boring, and it seemed very old. Many of the laser projections had nothing to do with the music or the background pictures. Luckily the tickets were cheap so... More

Love the live star shows narrated by knowledgable astronomers. Always lots of room and clear line of sight for the stars projected by the star projector. The movies are usually good too. Highly recommend that locals get a membership in the Science Center, which is a great value and allows lots of visits to the planetarium.

Saw pink floyd lasor show along with typical planitarium shows. It is a different experience than movie theatre. Comfortable seating.

This was one of the first state-of-the-art Zeiss planetarium set ups in the country & it is still pretty impressive.

I loved coming here on school trips so took my 2 boys for a show for ages 5 to 7. We were not impressed. Maybe it can't compete with modern animation, etc or maybe some other shows are more modern. The science exhibits outside the theatre were interesting enough while we waited.

The exhibits were very interesting but the movie "Ring of Rire" was amazing. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any of the star shows, but I am sure they would be great. Seating was very comfortable, We were there on a combination ticket with the museum.

This 200+seat modern planetarium is associated with the Rochester Museum and Science Center. It runs several public "star shows" on a regular basis for folks of all ages, as well as a variety of multi-media movies shown on the big dome. Later on Saturday evenings they break out the laser and do laser light shows on the dome set to... More
