Enter by Broadway. Drive to the free parking in the middle of the park (take a left when you'll see the signs and buildings). Out of your car... start walking toward the big bricks buildings that form an open square. Those are the "baths" were people use to come to Saratoga for. FDR encouraged its development back in the 30's.... More

We arrived in early afternoon and decided to make the most of the weather so we took a stroll to some of the historic springs in the park. What a blast to see and taste the natural mineral water flowing out of the rocks! The trails are well marked and a particular delight is that this park (and all of... More

Saratoga Spa State Park, originally developed for the study and therapeutic use of the mineral springs here, is a 2,200-acre park that is listed on the National Historic Register of Historic Places . It is one of the few places in the Northeast where one can see a natural geyser, and drink mineral water right from the spring (there are... More

perfect for outdoor activities; highlights were jogging and partaking of the mineral baths/spa. The grounds were kept open despite snowstorm and it was possible to jog on the pathway around golf course.

We've had family reunions here as well as just lovely walks for many, many years. It's a beautiful area that is well worth exploring. A picture perfect place for a party!

Great place to be on the weekend. Great walking trails with a variety of options and places to walk/run and explore the park. We would go back!

Whether you want a quiet, secluded spot, want to play golf, want to see geysers and try spring water, have a cookout, go swimming, hike, bike, jwalk, jog, or (in winter) skate, cross-country ski, you can do it all here. There's even a classic hotel (The Gideon Putnam) and beautiful old buildings and halls with fountains with reflection pools. In... More

I have been a regular visitor to S.P.A.C. for over 30 years. It is a great place to see a concert. The indoor seating is great but I prefer the lawn. Great viewing and acoustics either way. The park is also a great place to have a picnic or do some tailgating before you go inside for the show. Bear... More

Although we had to fit our visit around a business trip, we immersed ourselves in the history and culture of the area. Don't forget to read the historical plaques at the Giddeon Putnam Hotel. And taste the water just to say you did. Next time we'll see if we can actually fit in a spa treatment!
