This is a nice quaint park in downtown. We found to be a nice spot to people watch or maybe read a book. I wouldn't call it a destination but would say it is a nice place to get outside and get some fresh air.

Congress park is a small city park. While in dowtown, take a moment to stroll around Congress park. There are ponds, monuments, fountains, ducks, springs, a historic carroussel and many locals enjoying the lovey atmosphere of this park. It's free and you can't miss it while walking downtown. The Saratoga visitor center is just across the street.

Congress Park is situated in the center of Saratoga Springs. It has several unique features- mineral springs, a carousel, pond and stream, monuments and a historic "casino". The park is an easy walk- you can see everything in a matter of 2 hours. The carousel is open on weekends and costs just $1. There are a few fountains and statues... More

This was a very centrally located park; great for shortcut to main part of town and also was host to numerous places to tour, including Veterans park and historical museum/casino (highly recommend tour!)

Really worth walking around, check out the various springs and the bird houses that look like historical buildings. The sculptures and gardens make a charming atmosphere to sit and enjoy a few quite moments.

Congress park is nice for relaxing in with the kids, and they love the ducks and the merry go round. For being in Downtown Saratoga, and all the $$ that comes in during the Summer, it would be nice to have better bathrooms w/ an attendant. They could survive on tips alone.

This park is definitely one of the best parks to visit. It is very cooling and good for strolling, especially if you are alone.
