Great collection of cars on loan and displays change periodically. Large collection of historic cars and docents on the floor are happy to fill in details and answer questions. Up close viewing makes you wish for a ride! Just beautiful!

We had a BOGO free coupon. Admission was 8.50 for both of us. We enjoyed looking at the different cars that were on display. But our favorite was the popcorn truck that was 1 of 2 ever made. Wished it would have been a little bigger as we enjoyed the ones on display and could have spent more time here.
Hidden near SPAC, the Roosevelt Baths, Gideon Putnam Hotel and Hall of Springs is the Automobile Museum. My family has enjoyed the core collection of historical cars and the changing exhibits of race cars. Well worth a visit when you are in the area, particularly on a cold or rainy day when the many outdoor activities aren't so attractive.
This auto museum is not overwhelming - just right for an hour or two and in the Spa State Park, a beautiful setting with much more to see and enjoy. Just another reason this town is so wonderful to visit.
Nice museum, with a changing main exhibit and permanent displays. Check their website to see whats on display and upcoming special events.

I went to this museum with a friend who is a car lover even though I'm not into cars, yet we both loved it! It has a lot of interesting cars and exhibits. The prices are also great! Adults are only $8 and they have discounts for students, military, seniors, etc. Kids will like it too!
Want to see cars that make a 1930 Model A Ford look old, then come have a look at the second floor. NIce collection of old sedans, sports cars, races cars, from T-birds, to Corvettes, to old Ferrari's this Auto Museum is great for it's size. Also check out the seasonal car meets for French Citroen, Italian sports cars and...

The musuem is small, but it has a pretty good NASCAR exhibit on the bottom. They had a nice video on Dale Earnhart. The upper deck has a lot of classic cars produced by car companies from the North East. The musuem is well organized and the staff members are very friendly.
Saw the NASCAR exhibit with grandsons and was impresssed with the quality of cars on show. Loved the Bootleggers' car with mason jars of moonshine in the trunk. Boys loved the Tony Stewart cars. They created special cars on the computers upstairs, but did not have a chance to do the driving experience. They did the best they could with...
