a lot for $5, takes about 2 hours -- could be more descriptive of displays, especially if you don't know a lot about racing

Whether you are a seasoned handicapper or a tourist passing through, the Hall of Fame is a MUST SEE. It follows the history of the sport, the Saratoga race course and the people & animals who have contributed to the game. You can watch videos of almost every fampous race, stand inside a staring gate, see trophies worth thousands of... More

Having little background knowledge of horse racing, I was totally immersed in reading the entire array of historical notes but actually ran out of time--plan on spending more than 1 hour to fully appreciate the museum. Also, gift shop was great!

A nice experience! Check it out. They had a simulation horse riding experience that was pretty cool and nice all around history of racing.

The Racing Museum has gone through many changes over the years to help keep it up to date and exciting. They have racing memorabilia from the past to the present. Trophies, photographs, taped segments dealing with each horse or trainer who have been awarded the honor of being inducted into the Hall of Fame, movies, models of racetracks, cast iron... More

I'm not the biggest horse racing fan but we were staying a few blocks from this museum and decided to stop in. It's quite informative with plenty to see and learn about. If you LOVE horses and horse racing than I would definitely suggest going.

Not much film archives which would have made it more exciting. Mostly cups and trophies.... yawn. Paintings were interesting but the overall layout of the exhibits could have been more thematic.

This museum really impresses me! A must stop even if you are not a big horse racing fan. I am! The building and exhibits are first class. The next time out to Saratoga, I want to spend the better part of a day checking everything out. I have been two times, both when the track was not racing, so the... More
