One of our stops on the wine tour. Excellent selections of wine. I believe it was one of the wineries I spent most money. So many great wines I couldn't make my mind up!

I came for German food and a great view. I had sauerbraten, and it was unremarkable. The jäger schnitzel was good. The portions were large. I was hoping for sausage or roulades or kraut, but no. The cherry strudel was ok but wished we had ordered the apple. The view was great after the rain stopped. Eating on the patio... More

My husband and I had just returned from a trip to Germany/Austria, so needless to say, we were anxious to have dinner at Castel Grisch. It was such a disappointment....and an expensive disappointment at that. The food was overcooked, lacked any flavor, and was just not good. The view from the deck was very romantic...if you're just there to drink,... More

Nice selection of wines here. They had a good sale of some of their more popular brands. We enjoyed the tasting. People were very friendly.

If you would like a wedding, dinner, or wine tasting experience in Princess Cinderella's Castle, this would be the place to do it. This picturesque palace is located on top of a mountain. The food and the view is to die for. A must see for any visitor to the Seneca Lake area.

We had a good quality lunch there - German food. The service was slow because they only had one waitress - for the outside deck area where we ate. It was very windy that day and she dropped a heavy tray when she opened the door to come back outside due to a severe gust of wind. She hurt her... More

Having been to Germany before and sampled the food there, I can proudly say that not only does this venue have a great view of Seneca Lake, but it has authentic German cuisine that will satisfy any palate. German food at its finest here in NY!

I became aware of Castel Grisch after moving to the Rochester, NY area and happening across their Johannisberg Riesling which has become one of our favorite affordable local whites. When looking into places to take my mother for a special lunch, I decided to try out Castel Grisch despite mixed reviews I'd found. I was especially worried about my toddler,... More
