Beautiful beach with wonderful views and good swimming at High Tide (if you like cold water) - 15 minutes walk from Church Quay
Rushy Bay on the isle of Bryher is a fab place to visit. Where else can you sit on one of the best beaches in the UK that is totally deserted. Fabulous view from the beach out to the isle of Samson and further to the Bishop Rock lighthouse.
Nothing, that's what we did. Led on the beach and soaked up the sun. Then we paddled in the clear water and looked at seashells. There is nothing else there except a great view and a nice sandy beach.
lovely sandy beach with great views out across the north atlantic ocean. very peacefull watching the wildlife and passing boats
The sand is good, sometimes see seals, good for watching the bird life on the rocks and sandbars around Samson.
South facing, gorgeous views, safe bathing (if you can cope with the cold water!). Rushy Bay is also the landing spot at very low tides for the inter-island boats which is great fun for those who like a challenge!
The sea may be cold but that did not stop my husband and son swimming there every day (without a wet suit!!!)
