This was the third cave we visited after Lake and Mammoth Caves. this was not as tiring as the LAke Cave but was more beautiful with the different rock and Calcium Carbonate Stalligtites and the Stalligmites formations. the Jewel box formation was beautiful as was the skeleton of a six hundred year old animal so well preserved. Wonderful experience for... More

If you enjoy exploring caves, this is a good one. There is some fantastic decorations in this cave and it is quite large / long. It is a guided tour so there is plenty of information available from the guide. As you would expect, there are steep stairs to get up and down but if you don't mind a bit... More

A great trip out on a rainy day. The kids loved the skeleton of the ancient Tasmanian Tiger and they learnt a lot on the tour. Great coffee in the café.

We visited Jewel cave on a rainy day, it was beautiful. This cave is very interesting for the whole family, the sights you get to see are just breathtaking. One of the best caves we've ever been to!

We decided to visit the Jewel Cave as it was a rainy day, and we could not visit the beach. Having never been to a cave before, we did not have high expectations. The cave is very large and really amazing - the actual experience far surpassed the website and the brochures - and we took masses of photos. The... More

After visiting the lighthouse at Augusta we decided to do a tour of one of the caves and chose Jewel cave because of its close proximity. Well signposted we arrived with half an hour to spare for the tour at a cost of $22 per adult. My parents are in their 70's and we were advised that there are around... More

We found jewel cave very hard to find as when you try to find the address for it, on every website it says " caves rd". If you look up caves rd, there is 10 000 addresses along caves rd which is 140km long. It was worth tw frustration to find, quite a lot of steep stairs but my 55... More

Has a very good visitor centre and there are a couple of different tours one can do. We chose the one hour guided tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the cave was pretty amazing and well designed in terms of walkways. Well worth a visit.

decided to go here out of all the caves in the area, it turned out to be a lovely experience, walking down and around in the cave you were just struck by one amazing sight after another, you really can't realise how all the staligmites and staligtites were formed, be prepared for when they turn the lights off and you... We went to the Caves outside of Margaret River and our fav was the Jewel Cave, what a spectacular display of mother natures work. Our guide, Simon was so friendly and informative and because there were on two of us on the tour we have lots of opportunities to ask lots of questions and Simon was more than happy to... More
