Some beautiful older homes but not truly an attraction unless it was organized as the one reviewer mentions with the Christmas Parade of Home or if there were a brochure with some history and some fact and figures. It was a nice walk, just wish I had learned more.

There's a bunch of houses, a sandwhich shop.. Lame. Sandwhiches are good. I'll give them that, I can never figure out when they are open.

I love to just ride around this part of town. The old historic homes are so beautiful and being here brings back memories of my childhood when I lived nearby. I wish I had bought a home here years ago before it became so expensive to own here. The homeowners take great pride in their homes. Just love this neighborhood.

I try to go to the annual candle light tour of restored homes decorated for the Holidays. Very pleasant.

If you have dogs, check out the oakwood dog park. Then stop by Krispy Kreme, grab some snacks and walk around historic oakwood. The houses are a great mix of different styles from the late 1800's on up. Many have been modernized on the inside, but they still look great on the outside.
