I had no idea that Charlotte had a Whitewater Center with this many activities. It was such a fun experience. Activities/Entertainment: I did the MegaZip and two other ziplines. Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) was closed by the time I made it over to that part of the center and I was disappointed but I’ll have to try it in the... More

We just left the park < 24 hours ago. Beautiful, captivating, clean, seemingly well organized and staffed. Food was great and a wonderful experience--until the last event. I was there with my 3 kids, aged 16,15,11. We arrived at 10am prepared for a challenging day. We successfully completed 3 ropes courses and a few zip lines. We attended a raft... More

Normally we love the white water center. It is a GREAT place for rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, mtn bike riding, etc and my kids love it. The issue is that we booked their private conf area for a large family event (~200 people) over 6 months ago and were told that there would not be any other events that evening.... More

This is the nicest man-made whitewater course I've been to (East Race in Indiana and the Ocoee being the others). The whitewater section is short, but fun and not having to carry your boat back to the top is awesome. The other facilities are also very nice-rock climbing, zip lines. The hiking trails were closed due to rain the day... More

Went here in September with a small group and had an absolute blast! It was my first time doing any kind of whitewater activity and everyone was so helpful getting us suited up and explaining what to do. Our guide was great - very funny and easy to follow! We also did one of the zip lines, the obstacle course,... More

If you have an opportunity to do the "zip and dine" evening, do it! It was a perfect combination of zip lines, bridges and great food and drink! I'm horrible with names and can't remember our guides names but they were awesome! We felt well taken care of and safe at all times. The food was absolutely amazing. Would highly... More

I recently visited the US National Whitewater Center for the music and sports festival Tuck Fest and was awed by the number of things to do and see. There are two whitewater courses, but also flat water, zip lines, climbing walls, ropes courses and mountain bike trails. We saw kayaks, canoes, rafts, riverboards, stand-up boards, inflatable balls with people inside... More
