Does not seem very well organized, very small, not much to see. Great place for meetings and workshops.
Schiele always has great exhibits in the museum, as well as awesome planetarium shows. Outside their nature trail is a nice relaxing stroll through the property. Time it right and there may be a backwoods weekend happening.
A great educational place for the entire family. It has a planetarium and we always enjoy laying back and enjoying the stars. They have added a extensive addition to give visitors more educational opportunities.
If you would like to take your children to a place where they can learn many things and you don't have to max out you credit card this is the place. Many things happen here so check out their website.

There are far more natural history exhibits about the Carolinas and beyond than we would have expected. The gift shop is quite nice, large and well-stocked. Because of the... More
This museum has not changed (for the most part) in years. These dusty exhibits could use a renovation. However, the traveling exhibit area is worth a visit. The recent Caves exhibit and Cowboys exhibit were both very nice. The historic site behind the main museum building is a little boring unless a special event is planned. The Christmas celebration is... More
