This was my first time visiting the Schiele Museum in well over twenty years. They completed renovations several months ago, so I was expecting great things. Most importantly, the new mammal exhibit was horrifying. These animals paced back and forth across their fece encrusted floors, obviously agitated. Their enclosures were so tiny and cramped. Some animals were morbidly obese. I... More

We went here as a educational trip and it was very worth it. They were doing some construction but I can't give a dislike to that because it is always good to improve.

We love this museum, not only for the exhibits, but for the wonderful programs and caring staff. They have always been helpful, kind, and friendly. We love events and programs they run and cannot wait until our children are old enough to participate in the overnight and day camps they run. The educational programs that the museum staff runs are... More

I was pleasantly surprised when I took my grandson there during his visit. There are so many interesting exhibits as well as an outdoor area that is interesting and education. We also saw a planetarium show and was very satisfied with our experience.

We visited on 5/5/13 and had a nice visit. Some of the museum was under renovation so that was a bummer. It is a great place for kids, although the planetarium show was a bit over their heads. I would not recommend it for younger kids.

He had a wonderful time. We spent the entire day at the museum. It is a great place for adults and children. It is on our list of family favorites!

We love everything about the Schiele Museum! We have visited multiple times and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Our favorite exhibit area inside is the area with live animals. There is so much to see that I find new things on each visit. We've never found it to be crowded, even on school holidays. Shows in the planetarium cost extra,... More

There are plenty of taxidermied animals to look at as well as natural history exhibits. The exhibits are nicely done. The museum seems to go on forever. Good family attraction.

I visited the museum on a Sunday afternoon. It was not very crowded and it was very entertaining. The volunteer at the front desk was rather abrasive, but mellowed once we paid for the planetarium. The huge dinosaur at the entrance greets patrons with high expectations. This museum suffers from on going never ending construction woes. Traffic patterns are altered... More

I don't care how many times we go, we always see something new. If we go for a specific exhibit or just for something to do for the afternoon, there is something that we have not seen or they have changed or is brand new. We always learn a lot from the special exhibits they have and really love it... More
