We try to go to the gardens at every vacation spot we go to. Airlie is a very small garden. Not in terms of acreage. And it was mostly all on the water. But just a well paced path leading to different sections. They have a little tranquil garden that has a butterfly garden. And what fun checking out all... More

We visited during the Ribbit Exhibit and loved doing the scavenger hunt even though we're in our 20s. For the crazy low price of $5/person you really could spend all day wandering around and looking at the swans, butterflies, lizards, birds, flowers, lake....bottle sculpture... Can't wait to go back and wander some more!

I went to photograph the Gardens just after everything bloomed. I could have spent another day there. I may just go back now that I've seen where the sun tracks across the sky.

These gardens were lovely when we visited in late April. Azaleas were still blooming, most of the tulips were going by, but still colorful. The Frog sculptures are great. Well worth a couple of hours and a bargain price- feel free to donate more.

We visited a few years ago in December and enjoyed the bird life and the resting gardens. We promised a return trip and we were not disappointed. It was a perfect day to stroll slowly and take in the flora and fauna . The grounds were incredibly well maintained. Some butterflies were out, but the bonus was the baby swan... More

We visited during the ribbit the exhibit, and enjoyed seeing the frogs scattered throughout the gardens. Check out the foxes, they are really cute and we were lucky enough to see four of them come out of their burrows. Another highlight for us was the Minnie Evans Sculpture Garden with the Bottle Chapel consisting of 4000 colourful glass bottles. The... More

The gardens and azaleas were in bloom it was very beautiful. We were in the butterfly exhibit and they brought 2 packages in and launched some more, the volunteer was very knowledgeable about the butterflies. It made the visit more memorable. The weather was great. I would have loved to pack a picnic lunch and eaten there.

What a beautiful introduction to southern plantings and architecture. Arlie Gardens is magical and romantic, designed and arranged beautifully. So many nooks and crannies, almost too much for one day, but interesting enough to visit many times.

Grounds are magnificent, bird life is varied, when flowers and bushes are in bloom.... Magnificent. And Christmas at Airlie is delightful.
