lots of fun but come on guys its time to change the show even the jokes are the exactly the same every year.people who live in the area enjoy the show but everything is the same every year same songs,same jokes in the same spot every year mix it up. your not just playing for the tourists.

Filled with renditions of popular Newfoundland and Labrador songs and tunes, sprinkled with one-liners and wit and occasional display of culture, this group of five has become one of the most widely-attended acts in the whole province. Almost by accident, and practically overnight, the ANCHORS AWEIGH band has found its way onto the list of "things-to-do" for local residents and visitors alike.

So much fun, comical, nostalgic, very entertaining, a tap your feet and clap your hands evening. A taste of Newfoundland humour without being over the top. Small venue to get there early to get a good seat and eat before you go cause pub food choices are limited and slow in coming.

Organized and friendly. Dave and Vera are ready and set up for each day and breakfasts are planned in advance. Warm atmosphere and clean home. Rooms need TVs for each.

I was really enjoying this show, loved the music and the fun of it all, but it was TOO LOUD!!!!! There wasn't any chairs left to try to move to see if any quieter. We ended up leaving after the intermission, I was really sad, as the tickets were $25 each, and it was a good show. I can't believe...

Very entertaining. Excellent music and humorous entertainment provided by five jovial men with guitars, accordions, drums, harmonica. They entertain on only some nights of the week but I would plan my trip around it next time. Be sure to prebook as it is very popular and if it is full put your name on a wait list as you may...

we were informed that there was a local group playing at the oceanside motel the evening we arrived. we went to see about tickets and the show was sold out, so we were put on a waiting list.
