I am new to the book (at 21..) introduced by my girlfriend. Looks perfect, probably more touristy during the season but was genuine and a nice short (1km tops?) through winding woodland paths.

Personally I never read the books or watched the shows/movies etc so I had zero interest in the place. That said, it was very picturesque and they did a nice job of explaining the various parts of the property as well as the history etc. I found it very touristy and unremarkable for the most part but my mother-in-law (who...

This is a must stop to visit on the island , learn some history and see lots of old items and where it all happened.

Ton's of tourist from Japan where we figure the Anne of Green Gables series...

Lovely peaceful place, lovely walking trail in the woods, know wounder Lucy Maud Montgomery like the place. It is more about the atmosphere than the house itself which is lovely, it promotes the island way of life rather than a commercial business

I have never read the books, but I did enjoy the movies. For those that are fans, it is like revisiting the book. There is not anything particularly outstanding....

You can't visit PEI without visiting Green Gables. Period. The Haunted Wood is a lovely evening walk for those looking for a stroll.
Had a lovely time! Even took a walk down Lovers Lane. The house is set up well and looks very authentic!
I'm not necessarily a fan of Green Gables, having never read the books. We started with a orientation video talking about Green Gables. Touring the house and grounds was enjoyable.
