I have been to the Disney private island, so I had pretty high expectations. I was happy with what was there. We decided to take one of the first tenders out, so we could beat the rush. We picked our spot on the beach, got a couple of umbrellas and floating mats and planted ourselves for the day. The water... More

The first time I heard of Coco Cay was on a Royal Caribbean International television commercial and it was being sold as a port of call at their private Island. We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise and Coco Cay was a port of call on our itinerary. I just thought of their TV commercial and said OK, whatever! My... More

I wish I had known this was a dumping ground used by cruise ships. The crusie lines pay top dollar to use this island as an intermediate stop for people. Not a real island. Same vendors, cruise lines bring in lunch for passengers. Lined w beach chairs. A tiny nature trail that is less than 10 mins long. Paid $20... More

Stopped here during a 7 night Royal Caribbean Cruise on the Freedom of the Seas. Not much to it really, it's a very small island owned by Royal Caribbean which functions as an extension of the ship. It's not a cultural place at all so just enjoy it for what it is. Most cruise ports require a transfer or cab... More

My daughter, her friend, and I spent a day at Coco Cay during an RCI cruise. I spent most of my time snorkeling, which was a blast--not as many fish as in some places I've snorkeled, but plenty to oooh and aaah over. I loved it! My daughter and her friend snorkeled, used the water slides, and went parasailing. They,... More

We have cruised with Royal Caribbean many times but this was my first visit to their private island in the Bahamas. Coco Cay has everything you'd expect from a private island retreat in the Bahamas. We were lucky enough to have a fantastic weather day, sunny and temps in the 80's. I was a little worried that we would have... More

Coming from a tropical island, this was a disappointment to me. The island is transformed in a small village consisting of a port, a few huts, some (staff) houses, shops (like the straw market on Nassau), food & beverage huts and the rest is pure nature and beach. The first beach you see has no sunshades unless you rent one.... More

Awsome island, water is beautiful beach a little rockey. Barbecue lunch was great, chicken, ribs, burgers and all kinds of salads. Hammocks all over the island. Deffinalty try a coco-loco, located at all bars.

Coco cay is the perfect place to get aw from it all. There is a small strawmarket and a place to rent jet skis and other aquatic craft and some water slides if you're into that. The place is clean and pretty much undisturbed. Will definately go there again.

I got to see the beautiful job Royal Caribean did on this cay. Due to bad weather conditions we were evacuated from the cay and taken to Nasau. Bahamas. The little I got to see, walk to the very end if you want a more private experience.
