The food was good and hearty but the service is terribly slow and the queues are long, so is the hungry wait. Generous portion sizes would say the general facilities are better than average but just misses the four star.

This is my favourite place to come for some me-time. There are some lovely walks and I always pop into the cafe for lunch or a snack. The staff are always really friendly & helpful too.

We have visited Martson a number times both for dog walking and family visits. Walks are lovely with great lake views. There is a very nice cafe and shop. Dogs are allowed in the cafe garden. Definately will visit there again.

We had intended to visit many times and eventually realised what we had missed. There are numerous walks of varying distances and a lovely cafe at the end for a well earned snack and drink. We will definately go back as our dog probably enjoyed it even more than we did....Fantastic

We go to the Forets centre very often, especially in the warmer months. Loads of different areas to explore, great for bike riding and dog walking. Also good for picnics, or the cafe is great too (never fast, but good!). great place to meet with friends as plenty of space.

Pete and I took our friend and our dog Pips here on Saturday 9th February, we were pleasantly surprised at what we found. The Marston Vale Trust is working in partnership with the Environment Agency & Bedford Council to restore an area of floodplain grazing marsh on the edge of Bedford. They are also returning Elms to the forest as... More
