We unexpectedly popped in to Platypus park and met Peter who cooked us an incredible lunch, taught us about the platypus and helped guide us on our travels...His food was fresh and gluten free... The park was ok, but because of the lack of rain the pond was really dry and there were a total of 2 ducks. Go when it's wet, it may be different.

Nice quiet picnic area but we have never seen a platypus. A nice break to take the children as there are ducks to feed and fish to spot.
