This being the highest point in the entire state of Madhy Pradesh & Chhatisgarh offers great views of Pachmarchi town. A hired gypsy will cost Rs 1000 , Forest entry & guide pass another Rs 700. However it is well worth it. The drive enroute to this place was most memorable & offered fantastic views. It was nice to watch... More
This is a sunset point in Pachmarhi. The road goes through the forest. It has sunrise point as well on the other side. There is a visitor information center. Few arrangements made to see the sunset. Sunset looks wonderful there.
we went there in the month of sep and it was very cloudy. This place is famous for watching sun rise and sun set. But if you love walk in the clouds, this is a place to be even during rainy season. AND PLEASE DONT SPOIL IT WITH PLASTIC BAGS OR GARBAGE
Liked: The evening sunset and morning sunrise. During rainy season no sunrise or sunset but you may enjoy the top view of the Satpura range Disliked: The scary roads and no restaurant on top.
Dhoopgarh provides for a very good and beautiful walking trail lined with trees. Being the highest point in Satpura range, it is slightly colder here compared to rest of the city. Being able to view sunset or sunrise is really a chance event. You really need a very good, sunny and non-cloudy weather day to be able to see the... More

This is the 1st hill place I have seen where sun rise & sunset both points are available with beautiful view.

The best view is during sunset. Theres a lot of fog and makes it hard to view even something 3 feet away. But it is highly suggestible... More
Dhoopgarh was full of fog when we reached there at around 5.45 in the evening. It was a bit cold in the month of August. On the way to Dhoopgarh there are numerous water falls to be seen - very beautiful and serene. Sure place to visit.
