had a good walk around the lake which was beautiful. Walk is quite easy on a boardwalk all the way. Very picturesque.

I've been to Dove lake on two occasions and both times enjoyed clear blue skies, I wish I had the same luck on the Lottery! The Dove Lake circuit walk is a delight and the walkways are very well maintained. No matter where you are on the circuit the views are stunning. As others have said be prepared for all... More

A beautiful walk, not too arduous which took about 2 1/4 hours in the pouring rain. Most of the walk is a boardwalk which makes for easy walking.

I choose a foggy day for my walk around Dove Lake but despite that it was still beautiful and there were spectacular photos to be had all the way around. The colours in autumn are well worth it. Also continued on and did the Wombat Pool and Lake Lilla as well. The shuttle service is a god send and turns... More

This park has beautifully maintained trails for every hiking ability and schedule. Short, scenic trails on accessible boardwalks (Pencil Pine Walk) to challenging climbs for those in good physical condition (Summit Walk). Wear adjustable clothing layers for changing weather, bring water, check in at walker registration, and enjoy the fascinating wildlife and beautiful scenery.

Loved the wilderness of it all ... but the weather changes quickly and noticed a lot of ill equiped visitors trying to walk around the lake just before dark and without adequate wet weather gear ... make sure you have good wet weather gear

The circuit of the lake takes a couple of hours and is mostly easy walking with just a steep section at the start (if you go anti-clockwise). There are good all round views especially of cradle Mountain itself - if you're lucky with the weather as we were.

Rain, hail, sleet and snow just added to the adventure on this amazing walk. Some of the most glorious vistas I've ever seen. A wild platypus sighting was the standout of an afternoon packed with highlights....

What an absolute beautiful spot, the prettiest place in Tassie. Love the facilities and a lot spot in one place area. There are unexpected and hidden treasures around every bend. I can highly recommend the trip as a rewarding and must-do experience. You haven’t done Tassie until you’ve done the Dove :))
