We didn't have time for the boat - but this was the best way to see the wilderness - landing on the Gordon River - AMAZING. Beautiful waterfall deep in the wilderness - a great experience. My suggestion - miss the boat - do this. Ben was a great pilot - young gun and alot of fun.

Take off from Strahan Harbour, out over Hells Gates, Sarah Island and the fish farms then up over the Franklin wilderness area to land on the gordon river. Simply amazing - we did the flight afer the cruise and it was such an awesome experience. It is well worth the price. Thanks Ben.

What a great experience. Fantastic views of the western wilderness and landing on the Gordon river was awesome. From booking our flight with Geoff to our pilot Ben we had a great time. It may look expensive but personally I have rarely spent money so wisely

Great experience fantastic tour and information during the flight, can be little bumpy so not sure if you eat before of after the journey, but I would recomend this trip

An altogether different perspective of the wildness of tassie. Fly over hells gates and ocean then navigate back over the rainforrest and mountains then back to land way upstream on the Gordon river to taste the fresh but tannin stained water.
