The wine is good, ESP if you enjoy sweet wines. The winery is super cute and welcoming. Always loves visiting Hermes. Compared to other winery in the area a little more expensive.

We stopped here for a wine tasting and the place is so quaint and scenic, it added to the experience. The wines were sweet but very nice. The ladies working were very helpful and made the experience a 5 star one. Check this place out!
Sorry you were disappointed. What went wrong? Female behind bar has no clue how to pour or present wine for tasting. Very few wines available. I was not impressed with the clarity, consistancy, aroma or flavor of any of the few wines they do have.
They have wine flights you can try for $1 or you can get 6 for $5. I feel like the wine distribution is worth the $1 depending on whose pouring. The have both indoor and outdoor seating along with pizza and cheeses you can order, along with glasses or bottles of wine.
It is better winery than others in Sandusky area. The wine taste was great. You can have a sip sitting in the lush green backyard of it. Highly recommended for wine lovers. Go and try it.
Always great wine!!!! The barn is so unique! Ida Mae is our favorite. They have a good selection of wines that other vineyards do not carry.
Enjoyed a nice evening featuring wine and a guitarist. The wine was very good. Snack tray was pricey.
Compared to other wineries I have visited, the actualy barn is average. Wine is good, but nothing I make a special trip for. It is cozy and comfortable for a weekend night to listen to some local talent.
great staff, great wine; ideal location & convenient to get to!
My husband and I have visited wineries all over Ohio, Pennsylvania & New York. The barn setting was nice - very whimsical and inviting. We did a tasting and bought 2 bottles as did another couple we were acquainted with. Some wines we liked better than others but didn't taste anything that I would consider horrible or putrid.
I would...
