I had been to this museum when it first opened 7 or 8 years ago and wanted to go with a former highschool friend to find a brick I purchased there when the museum opened. It was a very rainy and miserable day and there was a school group there seeing the museum and answering a sheet of questions. There... More

We bought the family pass for the day which was $18. I felt that was a good value. The museum overall was good but not great. The space section had limited content. Wiley Post is an Oklahoma hometown hero, but I didn't find much in depth material about his background and accomplishments which left me wanting to know more. The... More

Even if you're not a history buff, this is a good place to spend at least a few hours. From the vintage drilling equipment outdoors, the full size plane hanging outside, the history of the state's Native American tribes, the founding of the state itself and even the history of cable television coming to the state, there is something to... This place has some really interesting features! It's got everything from "cowboys and Indians" to new inventions and space travel. Very interesting and informative! I mean how knew that the parking meter was invented in Oklahoma? :) Definitelt worth a visit!

Had the pleasure of visiting the Oklahoma History Center again Dec 27, 2012. It was a perfect day to be inside as the temperature was 28 outside and windy. The History Center always has a few new historical exhibits on display. Some show Oklahoma in a good light and some show Oklahoma with all its warts. That is part of... More

The volunteers and staff at the front desk will go out of their way to help you enjoy your visit. They have different galleries and their displays are easy to follow, very attractive visually but with excellent content. It's spacious and attractive, and the views of the capitol from the center are spectacular.

I had my daughter's wedding here. The venue is beautiful, they have a nice outdoor patio suitable for the ceremony and an amazing indoor area overlooking the capitol. The staff is very nice. Their website pictures don't really do it justice.

A great place to visit. We had a wonderful Native American inspired dinner, great entertainment, a wonderful tour of the many beautiful displays, and the opportunity to participate in several trraditional Native American activities.
