Philbrook is a lovely museum in a very pretty neighbrhood of Tulsa. They have free admission one Saturday a month and, even crowded with little ones, it's a fun place to visit. They have programs for kids to get them engaged in the art and they can even make their own! Also, in the Spring their gardens are BEAUTIFUL.

We had the the pleasure of visiting this museum during it's 2nd Saturday free family day. We had no idea it was a special day but were pleasantly surprised! Although we do not have children I am a teacher and was impressed by their creative learning experiences for children! The museum has a quiet impressive collection for its size and... More

Philbrook is a "can't miss" destination when visiting Tulsa. It give visitors a glimpse of the granduer that was Tulsa during the "oil boom" days. The professionally designed gardens are favorite for bridal photos.

I admit that paintings don't really impress me much. I like what I like. I'm more interested in three dimensional stuff (sculture, found art and the like) The place is beautiful from the outside. I don't know if it's a converted mansion or it was built for this purpose. It was raining so we didn't get to explore the grounds,... More

This is one of my favorite Oklahoma art museums. The gardens are wonderful too, and in various seasons of the year. Don't miss the free family Saturdays with the special art classes for children. They are part of the free Bank of American 1st weekend of the month program too.

What a glorious location. The Villa Phikbrook and gardens are breathtaking. You could swear your are in Italy! The art is varied but not overwhelming, you can see it all at your leisure in a half day. Go in the morning and stay for lunch onvthe patio!

I've lived in Tulsa for most of my life, and the Phibrook has always been one of those go-to places to enjoy an afternoon. The museum itself is gorgeous, and being in such an interesting historical building is almost as interesting as the artwork. The grounds and gardens are probably the best part. Very extensive and well kept. Lots of... More

I think the main attraction are the gardens. Beautiful and almost immaculate upkeep. Take some to strroll slowly thru the gardens to really enjoy them. We were there in April and most everything was in bloom or ready to bloom. Very well done exhibits. Extensive gift shop. Very good little restaurant.

On the second saturdays of every month, the museum has a free day. They host many events for kids and even give them free art kits. Or you can just go and walk around. All areas open on this Saturday's so you can cruse the gardens, the whole house, grab a bite, then visit the gift shop. I love this... More
