Great small town atmosphere and good restaurants. Plenty of good, fresh seafood! Harris Beach State Park is beautiful. Try the Art Alley Grill for super food in a romantic setting.

Lots of flowers, shops, friendly people and sunshine! We enjoyed our stay - went to the Azalea park and had a picnic. Walked along the beach. Poked into little shops. Had a great lunch! You should go.

Brookings is touted as being the Banana Belt of the Oregon Coast, as it basically has warmer temperatures and more sun than any of the other towns on the coast. I always enjoy driving through Brookings. Everything is so clean and well kept. It stands out over all other Oregon coastal towns. Nice accomodations and good food abounds here. It is also near some of the most beautiful coastline along the Oregon coast. A great place to travel to or to stop when you have another destination.
