During low tide, walk around the north cliff and see a beautiful waterfall! It is like a beach all to yourself! This is a "don't miss" while traveling the Oregon Coast!

A bit difficult to get down to it, but well worth it! Lots of little hiding places and a waterfall too. Many moments for pictures!
After reading a guidebooks description of this place and hearing it's history I had to see it. Nothing about stagecoaches is still there, but it sure looked like a lot of people were having fun there. It was an attractive beach and there was a lot of parking. I was only there for about 15 minutes, but you should go...

What a beautiful pale to stop and explore during low tide. All the little caves and the waterfall here is really something to see and enjoy. We spent quite awhile here looking around. When you go down the short trail and walk on to the beach walk to the right and around the corner to a breathtaking area!
We enjoyed our trip to Hug Point. Come at low tide so you can see the sea caves and walk along the old road that runs along the shore. Lots of tidal pools with starfish and other critters.
What a great little hidden gem! Lives up to its name. The waterfall and rock formations are interesting and beautiful.
Nice beach that is not to busy. Better to go at low tide. Waterfalls and tide pools are fun. Great place to take the kids, or a Romantic beach with a loved one.
Hug Point is one of our favourite spots on the Oregon coast. My husband remembers when he could actually drive around the point, back in the 1960's before the park service took it over. For some information about the history of Hug Point, read the TripAdvisor Traveler Article here:

Our vehicle was hit and run'd in the rear by an older Toyota with a bumper sticker that said "I got VD in Portland" That should have been our clue to...
