Large building. $3 for seniors. Some modern art, a large room of Japanese things, Korean calligraphy. One room of third-rate European painting. Did the whole thing in twenty minutes.

I've gone through this interesting museum a few times, as my children one at a time considered the University of Oregon as their college and came for a campus tour. From the outside it's almost impossible to guess it's a traditional art museum within, and I must say that every visit has proved surprising, both for the range and the... More

Since it was a guided tour, we stayed with the docent. We did not have time to spend any great time at exhibits that interested us. The museum was closed that day which made viewing easier. We only really saw the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean art. I would have liked to have spent more time in the women's display section.

From the outside, it's hard to tell that there are amazing works of art inside. I have always loved the courtyard and their Rodin sculptures. The museum has free admission on the first Friday of each month and during home Duck football games.

Eugene's world famous scrap metal dealer has given the UO a world class museum. The Leslie Dill Exhibit, 'Poetic Visions' brought us back several times and is just one example of the continual trail of excellent exhibits being shown. No continent is left out of the museum collection and its exhibit schedule. The cost of an annual membership is quite... More

We continued our 'introduction to museum manners' spending over 2 hours here, learning and enjoying the 'finer things in life'!! The variety - from school children to the 'masters'' to the 60's & 70's to Korea to "construction" interactive examples - we flowed and were surprised when we realized how quickly the time went!

They have some very nice exhibits and have even shown a Van Gogh. I mean, this is Eugene, so to have a museum of this quality is a real boon to the area. It's located on the UO campus so parking is always an issue, but it's a beautiful campus, especially in the Spring.

As a couple, we attended the museum not knowing anything of their collection except it features Asian art. WOW! Just Wow, folks! AND it was free admission on the Fri.! Can't be beat! You must see the jewelry made from birds feathers...glowing blues and incredibly dainty.

On the U of O campus. Free on weekends when the ducks play a home game. Outstanding Asian rooms - a particular interest of mine. Nice gift shop with reasonable prices. An amazing art museum for a university campus!

The Jordan Schnitzer has a predominatly East Asian collection which is decadent and lovely. They are small enough to feel intimate, but big enough to attract some amazing collections.
