we think having to pay for tasting is ridiculous and then on top of it we didn't really like the wine. Schmidt does have a wonderful garden, so if you go there plan to stay for a while and enjoy the garden.

This is a stunning property! Wines are consistantly great, bring your friends and enjoy the great wine and great views....evenings enjoy an outdoor fire pit.....wonderful a don't miss!

First of all - the address may say Grant's Pass, but it is about half an hour to an hour outside of Grant's Pass depending on where you are staying. That said, it was worth the drive to go to. Wonderful place to enjoy wine tasting, or go and have a glass or two. Stunning views, landscaping and Tasting room. Great wine, with many varietals to choose from.

What a lovely view while tasting wines in Schmidt's beautiful tasting room. The view is spectacular. They make a lovely fruit, cheese and cracker tray that you can enjoy inside or outside on the patio.

Beautiful grounds, about a half hour drive from Jacksonville in the Applegate Valley. We included them on a wine tour for visitors and had our picnic there in their really nice set-up. Lovely wines.

The Wine is delicious, service is amazing, and menu options are limited, but change weekly which is fun. The property itself is SO beautiful,what with a pond and a few gazebos to lounge in, a beautiful garden to relax around in.
