If you are considering running the Rogue, Rogue Wilderness Adventures (RWA) is the place for you. Incredible service, fantastic equipment, and first class local knowledge make for the trip of a lifetime. I had the good fortune of calling RWA to chat about about the logistics involved with a private trip. I spoke with Brad, the owner, for over an... More

We live in Chicago and were going to a destination wedding in California, so in May we reserved a 4-Day Camp/Lodge raft trip with RWA for the end of September. When we arrived at RWA Brad told us we were the only passengers. One of the guides would take us to the put-in where the other two guides were. Naturally,... More

The trip included four days of guided salmon and steelhead trout fishing from drift boats for over 50 miles down the Rogue River in southern Oregon. The staff and guides were very professional in every aspect and the lodging and food were comfortable, good, and plentiful. In addition to fantastic fishing the sightseeing was unparalelled especially through the wilderness sections... More

We joined RWA for their annual "Hopalicious HIking Trip" - a 4 day, 3 night hiking and rafting trip down the Rogue River. As if the spectacular wilderness wasn't enough, an expert brewmaster joined our group with several coolers full of outstanding beer. After each day of hiking, our brewmaster met us at camp with a cold beer carefully selected... More

We had a great time on the full day rafting trip. The guide we had was phenomenal. The friends in our party had all been rafting before in class IV and V rivers - so the rapids were mild compared to previous trips. In the afternoon, the half-day group joined our party. One of the other guides did not put... More

We did the 4 day/3 night camping trip down the Rogue with Rogue Wilderness adventures August 1st-4th. The weather was perfect, no bugs, sunny with cool nights for sleeping. We enjoyed the single person inflatable kayaks and the kids took to them easily. We were catered to, fed huge portions of delicious food, had our tents already set up when... More

It was a last minute idea to raft the Rogue and we were thrilled to find a company so accommodating and friendly for our unprepared, unplanned trip. We had the best day! Thank you Rogue Wilderness for making our last minute plans seem simple and creating a day that was just amazing. More

The Rogue River rafting day trip has become an annual birthday celebration. So much fun! The white water is exhilarating, especially in the inflatable kayaks. The guides are well-trained in river rafting and safety. They are entertaining and prepare a delicious, abundant lunch. For our group they even provided the birthday cake with candles! Thanks Brad. See you next year! More

I own my own raft but it was so worth it to rent the equipment we needed for our recent 4 day raft trip down the Rogue river from Rogue Wilderness Adventures. The equipment was in excellent condition and the configurations they offered were better than I could have done myself. The drop off, pickup and shuttle service made it... More

I was traveling through Oregon last week and wanted to take advantage of this year's record white water levels. I had heard many times that the Rogue River is a place to go white water rafting. I have rafted many rivers over the past 25 years--including the Arkansas River outside of Leadville, CO, the Green River in Utah, and the... More
