For a great old fashion time at a great price, this is the place to take you kids or your date. The horses on the carousel are hand carved and exquisite.

This is cute for the little ones but admittingly the 15 year old in our house rode as well! All the kids really loved it.

There's nothing like the magic of riding a gilded horse in the open air. Even grandma can sit on one of the benches on the carousel if she can't hike up to a horse. Located in the Riverfront Park, with just a nominal fee (was $1 last I checked) this is an old fashioned good time.

If you need something fun to do with the kids, hit the waterfront. The Carousel is a must do at some point. I don't recommend coming back the Carousel all the time (as it just goes in circles) but the waterfront it's self is great for all ages!!!

I'm a huge fan of carousels. I am in a Carousel Preservation Society, even. I just want to point out that this is NOT a historical carousel, as other reviewers mentioned. Carousel is great.kinda spendy for the amount time of time you only get,has a gift shop.and a path you can take a long walk on,and a great play area for the kids.

The carousel is excellent, budget friendly and right next to an awesome playground so you can head outside to keep the free fun going after a ride or two.

This is a fine example of an old-time carousel set in a pleasant riverside park. Smaller children will love.
