Theater is great...really not a bad seat in the house. What I like most is the eclectic performances they have there. Always something different. It's clean and comfortable.

The Whitaker Science Center was a nice Museum to visit if you happen to be in downtown Harrisburg. The Museum is located next to or within the Hilton Harrisburg. The museum has some nice attractions and is just the right amount of "science" for the kids. I have an 11 year old and an 8 year old and both enjoy...

By itself, the Forum is a visually pleasing, acoustically fine performance venue. Beyond that, the facility is dated and not likely to undergo an upgrade.
First is the parking. Unless you know your way around downtown Harrisburg...good luck. There are parking garages (one tucked behind the Hilton) but on this evening, the Market Street Garage was closed. I found a...

the science center has very few exhibits and half of them are out-of-order. your kids can stay home and look at computer screens. then you'll save the cost of the overpriced admission.
Parking is easy and accessible. We have been there many times and will continue to take out of town guests there, as well as family and friends.
My husband and I drove from Ohio to see a concert here. The Sunoco Performance Center within The Whitaker Center is an intimate and beautiful setting. Our last row balcony seats were fine. We had a brilliant unobstructed view of the stage. The seating is tight, so those with long legs may feel squashed. We did not see much more...

To be honest and of course I have to be since I am the Truth!
We arrived here at 3pm and it was just to expensive for what it was, the IMAX movie prices were ok but I think it was going to be about $50 for 3 of us for 2 hrs, might be ok if you got more...

My nine year old enjoyed all the hands on exhibits. Kids love making their own cars and racing against the clock. Hurricane chamber very fun and the interactive electronic paint wall was worth the trip. Try and go at an off time. We were lucky. There were not many people on the day we visited so there was no wait...

As a student, my classes had gone to the Whitaker Center a few times. It's aimed at younger kids, but it's still full of interesting things. My fiance and I went a few years ago, and still had fun! Some kids have been too rowdy for my liking, but they are kids. Definitely a fun and unique place to visit,...
