This is also a must see while in Hershey. It is down town on Chocolate Ave. It shows you the the story of Milton Hershey, his family, life, successes, failures and how good of a man he was full filling his dream from making caramel to moving to chocolate. Building a city and providing homes, medical and a city for... More

The tour takes about an hour and it gives you all the information about how Milton Hershey started his company. There are old tins, wrappers, boxes, etc. from the beginning when he first started. His legacy is still going strong.

Very interesting museum. Gave a great history of the area and the Hershey company. My whole family enjoyed the exhibits, even the teenagers. Try the chocolate tasting while you are there.

I have to admit, that prior to going to Hershey Story, I wasn't sure if we were going to enjoy the museum as much. Especially after going to Hershey Park and Hershey Chocolate World and having a great time at both places, it was going to be "a hard act to follow". To my pleasant surprise, it was both fun... More

We did the museum tour and chocolate lab. Chocolate lab was fun and educational. The museum is self guided. There is lot of great history about Milton Hershey. We enjoyed it.

Exactly what it sounds like-the story of Mr. Hershey and his chocolate factory. Here you can see Hersey products of the past, a Hershey kiss wrapping machine, and a video about how the chocolate is made. This tour is fun, but I thought it was a little pricey for what it is... It would have been better if you could... More

For our rainy day B plan, we stopped at The Hershey Story. Our children's ages are 13, 11 and 10 and they were not so thrilled about walking through a museum reading signage when they really wanted to be in HersheyPark. What they did enjoy here was the Chocolate Lab. It was an extra charge but it was well worth... More

We went through the Hershey Museum on our last day, and were so glad we did. It answered so many questions that we still had about the school, Hershey's life etc. The Museum docents were fantastic and full of information. I have a new found appreciation for the Hershey Company and all that Hershey contributed to society. We also did... More

Went to the museum on our way home and this was one of the best museums I have been too. If you have kids, do the apprentice program for $3.00 more and you all be impressed at what you learn. (rather than just running through and seeing all the pictures and exhibits) The Milton Hershey story is amazing and will... More

Fascinating to see how Milton Hershey was, for his time, socially committed on top of being a successful businessman. Nice architecture, interesting displays, detailed informations about the founder, the company, the town and the workers. An interesting hour spent.
