This museum has a lot of information packed into a relatively small space. it provides a good introduction to the history of witchcraft and separates fact from fiction which appeals both to those visiting out of curiosity and people with a real interest in the subject. For witchy "geeks" it is worth the trip just to see the artefacts belonging... More

I've visited the Museum of Witchcraft in Boscastle a few times now - it's on my list of places I will always pop into when I'm in an area. It's set out over two floors, and is just the right size for a museum - not too big, not too small - although you could easily spend many hours looking... More

This museum is essential viewing, everyone in Britain should go. For me it explains why our pagan heritage, that may well of lasted for thousands of years, was erased or mocked from the history books. I learnt that Christianity is only winner or you might say the cukoo in the nest. I've never liked Christianity because they don't seem all... More

This would have to be the best museum we have visited. It is not only unique but opened our eyes to a whole new world. Highly recommended.

I had visited before in 1996, and was anxious to see how the Museum had fared after the flood of 2004. I was so relieved to see brilliant displays... as carefully and beautifully mounted as before -- maybe more so. Here is the history of various branches of the craft, including the oft forgotten but important hedge witchery. The staff... More

This museum is like no other, really informative and friendly staff, We have been there before but always find more to see, lots of little details that a single trip will miss. Good use of chanting music and mirrors to make the atmosphere very good . A few bits and bobs that you can buy like CD's, T-Shirts, Posters etc... More

I have visited the museum many times since my first visit in 1976 and it was great to see how the museum 'family' have not only restored the museum following the floods but in fact to see that it is better than ever. The displays show every aspect of Witchcraft and are very informative. We are so lucky to have... More

We visited this last week and thoroughly enjoyed it - learnt a lot too. I agree with those who have taken children around; it's not suitable for younger ones - there were a few in there at the start of our visit. They clearly didn't want to be there and messed about, spoiling it for those of us who were... More

We went here as a family whilst in Cornwall with our twin boys nine years old at Whitsun 2013. First think to note is the price no family discounted price and £18 for myself wife and two kids which I thought was expensive for what I knew would be a small museum . In most museums now kids are offered... More

We are sorry that you thought we were expensive. We do give discounts for larger families - £20 for two adults and three or more kids. We do not charge for under 5s. I do agree that times are hard and that every penny counts but that also applies to museums - you may recall that the Gaia Centre in... More
