Our first visit to the Eden Project and we were not disappopinted. We particularly liked the Mediterranean dome. Outside was also very interesting to wander round.

We visited mid week in May and also arrived as it opened and didnt experience any queueing or waiting so this is obviously the time to go!
We were originally planning to go on a rainy day but changed our mind and were glad we did as the pushchair/wheelchair friendly route to the biomes is quite a walk & we...

We went last Saturday - the first time ever dogs allowed in - arrived at 09.30 and didn't leave till 5pm. What a great day - our dog enjoyed it too. We had a private guided tour of the rainforest biome with Clara - a 60th birthday present - nearly 2 hours of fascinating insight and information on the Project...

So we arrived, paid (£23.50 as I had a Gardeners World 2 for 1 pass and £6 for a programme which I probably wouldn't do again but it was for charity!) and decided to sit in the cafe first for a drink and some cakes. I went with my mum but my partner would have loved this place as he...

Was in Newquay and decided to pop in and have a look as we were driving past on way home.
The site is huge and its quite a wow factor when you see all the domes in the old quarry.

A fabulous place especially to educate the kids and have fun. When it's wet it gets very crowded but staff are very helpful. Food in the main hall is very good indeed and good value too. Highly recommend
It was an interesting visit and facilities were good, food arrangements unusual, good value and choice - couldn't fault these. However we had expected more to see and experience given the hype on TV programmes we've seen. Worth visiting but not bowled over. We don't see it as a whole day visit we spent a couple of hours + lunch.
Incredibly friendly staff, all over the project. It has so much variety and masses of information. Stunning. Food and drink totally appropriate to the Project.
This is an inspiration for how man can make good the damage that we have created on this planet. Access was excellent for one of our party who was of limited mobility. Refreshments were reasonably priced and unlike many tourist attractions I did not feel at any point that our party was being ripped off. Very well done
If you like gardening - this place is for you. We went when the weather was not ideal, but since a lot of the gardens are under domes, we didn't have any problems.
Besides gardening they also emphasize being green - which is always a good thing to remember.
They also have a video to show you how it was...
