This is the third time we have been here and it's as good today as it's ever been. Stunning gardens and excellent facilities making it great value. Lucky that the weather was Ok, would recommend taking a small brolly. You could easily spend the whole day here. If you have kids I would recommend taking a picnic as food is... More

We had a lovely day out here. plenty of parking on a pleasant day. So many varied areas and something for all ages and interests. Enjoyed lunch in the Stewards House but there is also a tea room/cafe. Lots of places to sit and relax/ picnic. You could visit here often and not tire of it ( annual tickets are... More

The aforementioned 'jungle' refers to a wonderful deep valley criss crossed with winding paths that enable you to view the spectacular mature trees and shrubs, and many woodland and marsh plants. This was an area that was left to become a 'jungle' during the last century and the result is very atmospheric and beautiful. Overall the place has a wide... More

What an interesting and well run garden. There is something for everyone from the jungle to the vegetable garden.

The other half had always wanted to go to The Lost Garden and the opportunity came up last week. We were lucky to get a dry day which made for a comfortable visit. I think a lot depends on where you come from and whether you are in the vicinity of woodlands. Where we come from there are woodlands within... More

Impressed with the size of the venue. When you look at the old pictures of the dereliction you get a sense of the amount of work that has been done to restore the gardens. Also on show are all the old tools used on site a potted history of life and times on an estate at the turn of the... More

Our favourite place of our holiday, gorgeous stunning gardens, a very old world feel to the place, wildlife areas, great cafe and places to eat, plus a great gift shop. Super day out and we will come back this year

We decided to walk there from Mevagissey, in the drizzle... The walk is somewhat circuitous, to say the least. At one point, we thought it was some sort of local joke, as the signposts kept telling us, repeatedly, that the Gardens were 2 1/2 miles away! It took a good hour of trudging with no end in sight. It took... More

What an amazing achievement to have rescued this beautiful place for so many people to enjoy. It must have been a wonderful 'rescue' to have been involved with but incredibly hard work. Visited in early May when the Magnolias and Rhododendrons and Azaleas were starting to bloom and it was a truly magical place. Make the effort to visit the... More

We went in May, when the rhododenrons and azaleas were at their best, but here is a lot to see at any time of the year
