This was the highlight of our trip and wish we could have spent longer in fact we will be going back and staying closer to this beautiful part of Cornwall. Kynance Cove was fairly easy to walk to although we had two ladies with us in their 80's and one could do it whilst the other waked part of the... More

Genuinely one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Completely unspoilt and hidden away. Walk down very easy with two young children. Check tide times before you go as the tide comes in quickly once turned and covers most of the beach. Nice little cafe beside the beach too. We went when it was pouring with rain and... More

The Lizard Peninsula, Kynance Cove, Gunwalloe and Church Cove - all spectacular beauty spots unspoilt by commerce. You can visit these places at any time of year without paying for the privilege apart from a small parking charge (unless you are NT members). Enjoy the spectacular beauty of the sea and the scenery. Highly recommended.

We were not disappointed!! Idyllic National Trust maintained cove. Plenty to do and easy to get to as the path is so well laid. Made use of cafe for coffee & ice cream. Spent a good few hours playing in rock pools watching the surf. A very happy day, though I would resist returning in high season as Kynance has... More

Tempted not to write this review as this Cove and cafe are likely to be the best place you will visit in Cornwall, and will be over run, but that would be mean so here goes....Kynance is on coastal footpath close to the Lizard but there is NT car park on headland. 10 min walk down to Cove and bit... The Lizard itself is a must see. The old lifeboat station is something out of a Daphne du Mauier novel with an all pervading salty fishy smell. Parking is challenging but there is cafe, gift shop and National Trust station. Kynance (National Trust owned) is better; buy hot pasties in Helston and eat them with Pimms on the serpentine rocks... The Lizard is the most southerly place in the UK and at the very end there is a small café with an excellent menu and views - seals, dolphins and basking sharks as well as a birdwatchers dream place. Please note that the nearest loo is in the car park by the lighthouse and there is not one in the... More

We visited the Lizard and then walked to Kynance Cove, arriving just as the tide was coming in. We climbed down into the cove, had a cream tea in the cafe and snuck out again just as the water was lapping the rocks. Lovely walk hardly saw a soul, and great staff in the Cafe. Well worth a visit in... More

Visited Lizard Point today (and Kynance Cove) on a 10 mile coastal walk. It's beautiful and unspoilt and the few buildings that are there are wholly unobtrusive. I think the National Trust is doing a great job of maintaining this place and we in no way begrudged £3 for the car park. (In fact we've since become members). Didn't have... More
