Possibly the best place to sit and look out at the ocean on the east coast. Would love to swim in the pools when the weather is a bit warmer!
Steep stairs down to the pools, but it is a beautiful spot to visit, even if you are not wanting to swim. We were there during the whale migration season, and were lucky enough to spot a couple of whales out in the ocean. So we sat by the side of the pool and watched the whales for a while.
Lovely natural swimming pool cut in the side of the cliff. A bit dangerous in high seas as theater is changed every day by the high tide but it is lovely ,when the wind is not blowing. A place to swim every day safely and it's free!
Pleasant little walk down to blue pools but worth it.Hidden and not promoted, was only found by recommendation by a shop owner.Seek it out!!
Two separate pools- one for toddlers, we went one day with a very heavy surf and were surprised that the pool was not closed for safety reasons, but went back a few days later when the seas had abated and its a very pleasant spot. There is a long and steep flight of steps but if you take your time... More
This is one of my favorite places to visit on planet Earth! A giant rock pool with waves constantly crashing over one end provides the glorious atmosphere and beautiful swimming conditions without the dangers of normal ocean swimming. Whether you prefer to float about taking in the view or race a few laps it really can't be beaten!
Bermagui itself is a beautiful place, spoilt for choice of fine beaches such as Camel Rock and Horseshoe Bay, but in additon they have this. Although fed by the sea it is sheltered from it and thus perfect for swimming. Take the Scenic Drive and go there.
We see a lot of natural pool in Australia ( ex mainly) but tis one is without any charm, on a windy place. You will find really better beaches
This is a fantastic place to swim - a large pool which is washed by the ocean. A steep climb could mean it is inaccessible to people who are not good on their feet or are not fit and suffer shortness of breath. Snorkeling in this pool is well worth it - expect some surprises. In whale watching season you... More
We went to the blue pool this month for the second time. It is a very beautiful spot and well worth a swim if you are in the area. A great experience for the kids, with lots of fish swimming in the pool and some breathtaking views. Water was a bit chilly, but them's the breaks if you want to... More
