We stay at Ballina Headlands caravan park and it is right across the road from great beaches such as flat rock beach. There is a lookout nearby with some steps, great to view the whales. Are you looking for a place to lay down and relax? This beach is the place. Great for long walks or swimming like crazy in warm waters is an amazing place to let your problems go and enjoy life. It has good restaurants too. On weekends you will find a nice market with people selling organic/local products.
What a great place - Byron before all the visitors. Beautiful beach, relaxed locals and good eateries. Lake Ainsworth is opposite the surf club and gives the opportunity for a fresh water dip after the surf.
